SUNSCREENS AND JARGON

My Sunscreen Says Its Organic So It’s The Best One Right?

sunscreen’s active products the ones that protect you from the sun, are not natural or organically grown, they are chemical substances called UV filters. Some of the inactive ingredients, which have no sun protection value, can be plant based and can be ORGANIC for example shea butter, beeswax. Just be aware that only some of the ingredients are organically grown.

My Sunscreen Is A Mineral One They Are Natural Aren’t They?

Well they sound it, but the terms mineral and chemical used by some websites are misleading. All the active ingredients such as zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are all manufactured chemicals. Whether it’s an organic or inorganic UV filter they have all been produced on a chemical plant.
